This rare fossil tooth comes from Megantereon, an extinct genus of saber-toothed cats that lived during the Pliocene to Early Pleistocene (2.5–3 million years ago). Considered one of the earliest true saber-tooths, Megantereon was the ancestor of the legendary Smilodon.
The specimen preserves its iconic elongated canine shape with clear enamel ridges and natural fossil coloration. With its scientific importance and visual impact, this tooth is a remarkable addition to any paleontological collection.
