This fossil tooth comes from Machairodus, an extinct genus of saber-toothed cats that lived during the Late Miocene to Pleistocene. As one of the apex predators of its time, Machairodus possessed long, deadly canines designed to pierce the hides of large prey.
This specimen measures approximately 20 cm in curved length and is preserved with its natural enamel texture and striations. It shows visible restoration and repair lines, yet the sharp curvature, surface detail, and imposing presence remain well-defined, making it a striking addition to any fossil collection.
